We do a lot of listening. We listen to our clients, who are the experts in their industry. We listen to podcasts to keep up with industry trends. We listen to each other, often starting with the most junior person in the room, to get ideas. We listen. We process. Then we offer ideas.
Raise the Tide
We think a lot about the phrase “a rising tide lifts all boats” when we consider our marketing approach. We think about how the PR impacts SEO, how the print mailer will influence website traffic, and how influencers can help inform distributors. I guess you could just call it “strategy” or “marketing funnels”, but we like boat quotes for some reason.
Always Be Learning
Some of our consultants are/were also professors. Some of our freelancers were former students of those professors. Some still are. Learning, mentoring, and education is at the core of what we do. Heck, some of our more seasoned veterans joined the team to learn about trends from the interns.
Make It Meaningful
We have worked with a number of clients who were skeptical about marketing, and we get it. It can be expensive and you’ve likely tried things that didn’t work before. We all have. Knowing this, we try to make our results as tangible as possible, often educating our customers about what we are doing and training their teams to do some of it internally rather than using jargon to sound smart.
